Sunday School at Forks UCC is the most fun way for your children to learn about the Bible! We use the Simply Loved curriculum from Group. We are a one-room classroom, however we customize our activities so they are fun and relevant for all ages.

Our program runs from the 2nd Sunday in September through the 2nd Sunday in June. Sunday School takes place during our 10am Worship services after the Children’s Message.

Our Sunday School typically begins with the kids finding the weekly Bible verses in the Bibles, reading the verses, and the teachers teaching the lesson in fun ways that the kids will understand. After the Bible lessons, the kids make a craft, play a game, watch a movie, or do another fun activity. We then end each class with The Lord’s Prayer.

At Forks, we sponsor a girl in Columbia named Maria who our Sunday School class writes letters back and forth to. Also, any Sunday School offering goes to directly support her.

On Communion Sundays, we teach the lesson of communion in class and the children take part.
