Prayers of the People

An important part of our worship is to speak and listen to God as we pray about our concerns for each other, ourselves, and the world. At this time in the service, you can share out loud names or concerns to lift them into our hearts and minds, or type your message in the chat if joining us online.

We also have Prayer Cards in the pews which can be dropped into the offering plate, or you can click the button below to fill out a Prayer Request.  These names will be added to our Prayer Concerns list located on our Prayer Requests page.

Communion

The sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month. All are permitted to partake at Forks UCC– we invite all who wish to know the presence of Christ and to share in the community of God’s people to join us at Christ’s table.

Do This in Remembrance of Me.

Baptisms

The sacrament of Baptism is celebrated at Forks UCC as they are requested. Please contact us if you desire to have your child or yourself baptized into the faith and family of Jesus Christ.

“Let the children come to me and do not hinder them; for to such belongs the Kingdom of God. Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the Kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” Luke 18:15-17

A church service with a minister and congregants standing in front of an altar. The minister is wearing a robe and stole, holding a book, and there are flowers and a cross in the background. Two women, a man, and a child are present.

Scripture and a Message

A typical service at Forks will have 2-3 short scripture readings read from the Bible. Following this, listen to a message from Pastor Laura that relates the scripture to our lives today.

Songs and Hymns

Praising God through music is a passion to us. Most of our services will have both traditional hymns played on our pipe organ and contemporary -style songs played by our Praise Band. We are always looking for volunteers to perform during our service, please contact us if you would like to share your talents with us or inquire after church on Sunday morning.

We’ll see you on Sunday Morning!

You are Welcome Here!
